Privacy Policy
Who we are
InWorks AI Corp, doing business as InWorks ("InWorks", "we"), 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY, runs this app and decides how your data is used. Our service providers (Vercel, Cloudflare, Neon, Clerk and Resend) handle it only to run the app for us.
What we record
We collect this to run the app, keep it safe, and build the AI datasets the Terms of Service describe:
- Your voice in roleplays, recorded on your own device on its own track.
- Your name and a photo you take with your camera. Other signed-in people see them, and whether you're online.
- Your email address or phone number, from how you sign in.
- Your age, country and, in the US, state. Your gender and first language, if you give them.
- Technical details: device, browser, audio settings, timing and IP address.
- What you agreed to, when, and from which IP address and browser.
- Reports, blocks and deletion requests.
- Data we derive from your recordings: transcripts, speaker timing, labels about tone, emotion or how the conversation went, and acoustic features, including voiceprints or speaker embeddings.
Under 18 or in Illinois
If you're under 18, we keep only a one-way hash of your sign-in identity (email, phone number, or Google or Apple account), with the date and the reason, so it can't be used to sign up again. Nothing else.
If you pick Illinois as your state, we keep nothing about you, only an anonymous count.
Biometric information
Some of the data we derive from your voice, such as voiceprints, and possibly your recordings themselves, may count as biometric information under some US state laws. Where it does, we collect, store, use, license and sell it only with your consent, which you give by agreeing to the Terms of Service and this policy.
We don't use it for advertising. We keep it only as long as we need it for those purposes.
Deletion and contact
You can ask us to delete your account and recordings at any time, in Settings or by emailing admin@inworks.co. From then on we leave your recordings out of new datasets and stop licensing them.
Email the same address with any other privacy question, or to see or correct your data.
What can't be undone
Licenses we've already granted continue. Recordings already licensed or sold can't be pulled back from partners or from AI models already trained on them. We keep the record of what you agreed to as proof of consent.
